Season Outlook

Best Case Scenario

The San Antonio Spurs is one of the most fundamentally sound teams in the NBA and this year, if the team can keep its core personnel healthy, we might see it continue to be one of the best on both ends of the court, thus far, 50 wins seems like a given for the San Antonio Spurs. The team might continue to be one of the greatest defensive teams in NBA (6th best in NBA last season) with both Duncan and Leonard returning to the team. San Antonio Spurs might maintain its power on the offensive side of things like last year where it ranked 6th in points per game, 3PT percentage, 1st in FG and AST per game.

Worst Case Scenario

San Antonio Spurs players might eventually succumb to the elements of playing over a long career, especially that some of its best guys on the team are into their 30s -- a time when even the best players begin to see their productivity decline and increase incidence of injuries. The team might not do as well as the previous year if Duncan, Parker and Ginobili will show their age this next season.
