Wonder Woman is everything fans want in a superhero. What is even more exciting is that there are actually two of her, because she has a twin sister. While Diana was created from white clay, her twin Nubia was created from black, which Aphrodite brought to life. However, Nubia was stolen by Ares, so Nubia did not get Diana’s powers.

With the "Wonder Woman" movie getting stellar reviews, the entire Twitterverse has been raving for a sequel that would give fans not just one but two Wonder Women. Whether this project happens or not remains up in the air, people can’t help but add fuel to the fire. Here are five actresses that should be considered for the role of Nubia.

Gabrielle Union

It seems like the twin of Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman” should be equally beautiful and fierce as Diana Prince. However, things could get more interesting if someone with a funny bone would be cast as Diana’s twin so their personalities would sort of complement each other.

Zendaya

While Zendaya has been known for her teenage dramas, being cast as Nubia might bring out the Amazonian within her. Of course, her sweet side, which fans have always loved, would go together with Wonder Woman’s equally wondrous personality.

Alexandra Shipp

While it would be nice to see twins have their own differences and how they cope with such, how about someone who might end up as the stronger and fiercer twin? This might be Alexandra Shipp’s take on Nubia if DC would be gracious enough to treat fans to casting her as Wonder Woman’s twin.

Logan Browning

Browning has been popular for her role on “Dear White People.” In this series, she has been constantly shutting up one racist student after the other in Winchester University. Other than that, Browning is a beautiful young actress that can be counted on to deliver a great performance.

Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o is everything fans and critics alike would want to see in an actress. Beautiful and has a captivating style of acting. Casting her as Nubia might just take superhero movies to a new standard.

“Wonder Woman” was an absolutely great movie, but of course, they can rack up the excitement by introducing another Amazonian in the form of Nubia. Whoever gets cast for the role, we trust DC to be cautious in selecting someone to star alongside Gal Gadot. Do you have anyone else in mind who you would like to play Nubia?
