A man of few words but big on action. That’s what Kristen Stewart’s ex, Robert Pattinson, has shown in a 16-second video of him at a Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles on Aug 16. Read on and see what he said.

Last Week, IBTimes-AU told you the news that Kristen Stewart’ ex-beau, Robert Pattinson, was pictured leaving a hospital in Los Angeles. The only thing we knew back then was an unnamed girl with Twitter username
Awkward_Turtle_Army @NonPetroLiam, made Twihards talking after she shared a photo of her and Rob at then unnamed hospital.

Almost a week after the news broke of Rob’s good deed, a video shared by Robert Pattinson fanpage has emerged online, showing the good-natured actor sharing a very short but heartfelt message.

Robert Pattinson: “Hey what's Up, I’'m Rob Pattinson. I’m at a children’s hospital in Los Angeles. Thanks for having me and its' been a great day, will see you again soon. Thanks a lot.”

Such short but sweet message has left fans the impression that indeed Rob is a down-to-earth person and has remained grounded, for even beginning his spiel by introducing himself, as if the whole world does not know him yet.

The video showed smiling Rob, who appeared to be very shy indeed. Clearly heard is his English accent in those few words, which was described by @NonPetroLiam as “incredibly marvelous in person.”

People Magazine ran a story on Aug 23, providing an inside look of what happened at the LA children’s hospital.

Written by K.C. Blumm, Robert has been described as “putting sparkle in the eyes” of young patient when he spent some time at the Teen Lounge at the Children’s Hospital on Aug 16.

With details from the hospital’s child specialist, Ana Vega, the magazine was able to walk us back to the day Rob had shared his time with the young patients.

The 27-year-old Maps to the Stars actor joined the children and made a pink frame decorated with hearts. Knowing that he made a “terrible art piece” Rob apparently laughed at his own art work. He then posed for photos with the kids and signed the picture frame that they created.

"Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids – he didn’t want to let them down – which is a testament to how humble he is," Child Life specialist Ana Vega said, according to People Magazine. "He was incredibly gracious and kind."

The hospital staff also confirmed he was visiting two cystic fibrosis patients, which includes the young girl who posted her picture with Rob.

The hospital’s public information officer, Lyndsay Hutchinson described one of the patients inability to say a word for being starstruck with the Twilight hunk.

"We couldn't help laughing and smiling when one of the patients was so starstruck that she couldn't speak. You could tell it meant the world to her – she was tearing up and smiling ear to ear," Hutchinson said, according to People.

The patients also had great connections with Rob.

The information officer added, "The other little girl teased him relentlessly and begged him to do an American accent. They were instant friends."
