Warning: Spoilers Alert!

Executive producer of "The Walking Dead" Gale Anne Hurd talked to E! Online about Season 5, Episode 8 and she described the episode as "heartbreaking."

"I would say it is heartbreaking. It is, I think, completely unexpected and a fantastic way to end the midseason," said Gale.

The executive producer added that apart from heartbreaking the midseason finale is also "kicka**."

Gale accepted that the review of this year has been good. She said that a lot of factors led to the success. "True evolutions of the characters" is one of the reasons.

"We got to see Rick re-embracing his leadership mantle, we got to see Carol as the savior of the group and we got to see elements of a different group of survivors and how they became cannibals and why. It's really a lot to cram into a one-hour episode."

Meanwhile, Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays the character of Sasha, in the show, described "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 as "Gut-wrenching."

"I think its just going to take you through everything - fear, suspense, you're going to laugh, you're going to be really sad. It's the whole gamut, the next episode. It really is. You can expect to experience everything," Sonequa said to Entertainment Weekly.

Will "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 see the death of a major character? In last season's midseason finale, Hershel Greene was brutally killed by The Governor.

There are speculations that Beth Greene dies in the midseason finale of Season 5.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 8 - "Coda" airs Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 on AMC.
