"If Daryl Dixon dies, we riot." Fans have, time and again, threatened that all hell will break loose if Daryl (Norman Reedus) dies. However, Robert Kirkman has blatantly announced Daryl's death on "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 1.

Comic book writer and executive producer of AMC's "The Walking Dead" Robert Kirkman talked to Entertainment Weekly's Dalton Ross about Season 5 premiere and his new comic "Outkast."

Robert mentioned a lot is going on with Terminus.

"In our premiere episode of season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them. And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies," teased Kirkman.

The last sentence in the statement is horrifying for Daryl Dixon and Norman Reedus fans. However, it looks like Robert is playing with the fans as he (Daryl) is not dying anytime soon.

It is great that fans will start getting answers on "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 1.

"They definitely get out of that train car. They do not spend the entirety of season 5 in that train car. It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car," confirmed Robert.

It will be interesting to see what kind of creativity fans will witness on the premiere episode of the show's fifth season.

Will Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continue to bite people? Will he use his jaw to kill the Terminus residents? It might also be related to Tyreese (Chad Coleman) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) who were spotted near Terminus.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 episodes air this October on AMC.
