Samsung Galaxy S III was released early in London much to the delight of customers who pre-ordered the latest smartphone recently.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will be officially launched in the market on May 30, 2012 but Samsung decided to give the orders way earlier than the launch day in London.

Customers who have pre-ordered the smartphone would be able to get their device on May 29, around 6pm which is the night before the official launch date.

This offer is applicable for all pre-orders and can only be claimed via store pick-up before 6pm on May 29, 2012. The pre-order could be done online or in-store but this is still subject to availability. All pre-order deliveries will be done starting on May 30, 2012. Samsung has also opened pre-orders for their retail partners and the retail stores would have the option of placing their pre-orders available an hour later which is around 7pm on May 29, 2012.

Official specifications of the device include dimensions of 136.6x70.6x8.6mm and weight of around 133g. The Samsung Galaxy S III also has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720x1280 pixels. These specifications make the Samsung Galaxy S III attractive for customers and the news of releasing it early to the public is something that many Samsung Galaxy fans are eager about. Simon Stanford, Vice President for Telecommunications and Networks for Samsung UK and Ireland disclosed the reason for the early release of Samsung Galaxy S III mentioning that "We've had an overwhelming response from our retail partners and customers alike since announcing the Galaxy S III on 3 May. So we wanted to delight our customers and reward them for pre-ordering by letting them get their hands on the device a day before anyone else."
