The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will have a 12-day visit to seven regions in New Zealand and four states in Australia as part of the royal couple’s tour in the region in November. Included in the tour is a visit to the National Anzac Centre in Albany to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli, which took place in 1916.

Aside from marking the centenary of Gallipoli, another anticipated event in the couple’s visit is their meeting with the new Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Turnbull stated that he and his wife Lucy are looking forward to hosting the royal visitors in their stay in the country, ABC reports.

The royal couple's visit to New Zealand on Nov. 4 will mark the start of their tour in the region. Visits to Wellington, Auckland, Dunedin, Nelson, Ngraruawahia, New Plymouth and Westport in New Zealand will be eco-centred and have a youth support service nature.

After New Zealand, the couple will proceed to Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Albany and Perth in Australia. Prince Charles will celebrate his birthday on Nov. 14 in the country by having barbecue at Perth’s Cottesloe Beach.

Tours to the defence forces of both countries include the National Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial. They will also have community and conservation organisation visits, which will include the Sydney-based food charity, Oz Harvest. The SA town of Tanunda is also included in the tour for the couple to experience the regional life.

Prince Charles and Camilla Bowles' November tour will be the former’s 15th visit to Australia and 9th to New Zealand, while it will be the duchess’ second visit to both countries. In 2012, the royal couple visited the country as part of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour.
