The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not yield a grand prize winner for the estimated $161 million jackpot with a cash value of $116.1 million.

The next drawing will take place on Saturday, and the jackpot will climb to an estimated $174 million with a $125.5 million cash option.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, July 21, were 27, 28, 44, 67, 68 with a red Powerball of 11. The Power Play was 2X.

Although there were no grand prize winners for the latest Powerball drawing, some players became instant millionaires.

A player in Ohio and another in West Virginia hit the Match 5 and each won $1 million. If either player would have hit the Match 5 with a Power Play, they would have won $2 million each.

There were also several smaller monetary prizes that resulted from the Wednesday night Powerball drawing.

There were 10 players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. Meanwhile, two players hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play and won $100,000.

The rest of the winnings from the latest lottery drawing ranged between $4 and $200.

Lottery winners have the option of receiving their grand prize winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Players who choose the annuity receive an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% every year.

Powerball can be played in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
