New Year's Eve is just around the corner and it must be celebrated in style. The day marks the end of the year, so make it a memorable one and do something special. If you haven't yet planned it out and are still thinking about how to go about it, here are few interesting New Year's Eve celebration ideas.

1. Plan a holiday with your family: Take a break from your usual routine and spend some quality time with your family doing some fun activities or just exploring some exotic places. Take a walk in the woods or enjoy some scrumptious sea food by the beach on the last day of the year.

2. A family get-together: Nothing is better than being close to your loved ones as we welcome the New Year. Invite your friends and family and prepare a special meal for the evening. To reduce the workload, organise a potluck supper and do the final countdown together. Don't forget to share the kisses and hugs with your beloveds at the midnight.

3. Hit the club with friends: Mostly all the restaurants, clubs and pubs are hosting a New Year's Eve party. So grab the passes, dress to kill and hit the dance floor with your friends. One can also opt for a masquerade or theme-based parties to add a little more fun.

4. A movie-marathon: Another fun way to spend New Year's Eve is staying indoors with your special someone and watching some of the most romantic movies together. To spice it up a little, prepare a special meal together and enjoy a candle light dinner.

5. Create a memory box: Collect all those items that are meaningful to you and your significant others and put it in a box. Recall and relive old memories by telling them how and why you cherish those moments associated to the items in the box that contains several special memories of you both, together.

6. New Year's Eve resolution: Take a decision to do something that is meaningful to you and others and will make a significant difference in your life. Pledge to change an undesirable/negative habit, attitude or behaviour into something positive. Don't be too hard on yourself and think of something simple and easy-to-follow.

7. Make a list of goals to be achieved in 2015: Everyone has some dreams and ambitions they wish to accomplish and realise. So get one step closer to your aspirations by listing them down on a piece of paper. Just spend a few relaxed moments self introspecting and learning more about your wishes and desires. Be mindful of staying realistic when preparing a list of your goals.
