“MasterChef Australia” fans think it’s high time for contestant Chloe Bowles to trust the experts when it comes to improving her dishes in this year's competition.

The 24-year-old nanny from Queensland is among the home cooks who are one step closer to elimination on Thursday night. Chloe, along with six other contestants, will have to cook their hearts out to fight for a spot in the competition. She was sent to this week’s pressure test after failing to impress judges George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston on the second Heston Blumenthal pop-up restaurant challenge.

Chloe, along with her teammate Brett Carter, got in trouble with the dish they presented for the savoury ice cream task. Chloe was banking on the unique and rich flavour of their beetroot and goat’s cheese ice cream, but it ended up being a complete mess. Earlier on, Heston and George warned Chloe that goat cheese may not be the best ingredient to use for ice cream, given its fat content. She decided to go with her gut and proceed with the plan, but it just didn’t work.

This was not the first time that Chloe defied the mentors’ advice, which resulted to disaster. She also did not heed Curtis Stone's advice before, leading her and Nicolette Stathopoulos to the pressure test.

“MasterChef Australia” fans are now telling Chloe to heed the judges and guest chefs’ expert tips so she can avoid running into trouble. One fan wrote, “Why oh why does @chloemnbowles keep insisting on ignoring advice from chefs who are genius” Chloe said it’s all part of the learning process in the competition. She replied, “[S]orry you think it looks that way! Sometimes you’ve got to take a risk to learn, it doesn’t always pay off but hey, it’s all good!”

Another Twitter user, Bloke McBloke, commented, “[T]ake the advice of people who know what they’re talking about.” Chloe tweeted back, saying, “Opportunity to learn!”

Chloe will be facing the elimination challenge on June 30, along with other “MasterChef Australia” hopefuls Brett, Heather Day, Trent Harvey, Matt Sinclair, Elena Duggan and Theresa Visintin. Network Ten posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode, focusing on the elimination challenge. In the trailer, each home cook is told to pick a colour and create a dish inspired by that hue. Based on the teaser, it looks like Chloe’s going to make a fatal mistake that could cost her a spot in the top nine. “I’m going home,” she says to the cameras.
