The bad blood that rose between Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez was unexpected. The "Come and Get It" singer was apparently the one who started the controversy after removing her connections with the famous Jenner sisters. Khloe Kardashian, however, will not allow anyone to bully her sisters.

This was after the "Come and Get It" singer deliberately unfollowed both Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, on Instagram-and wiped out all their photos together. Sources said that Selena did this because the Jenner sisters got to spend time with her on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber while she was away, according to Mail Online.

But a close friend of Selena claims that the former Disney songstress thinks that both girls are toxic distractions to her career and breaking free from their shadow will give her time on what is important, according to Hollywood Gossip.

Although it is not yet clear as to when Selena unfollowed the sisters, but currently the list of people she follows on Instagram has gone down to 15. Also, the photos of her and the girls during the star-studded Coachella event were missing as well as their pictures during the P.Diddy's son's birthday party.

Meanwhile, Khloe defended her half-sibs using social media Twitter where she posted series of Tweet rants. "So sick and tired of people talking shit about my family," the "Keeping up with the Kardashian" mainstay tweeted in defense of her little sisters' pictures' allegedly in a club. It was later revealed that Kylie and Kendall were partying at a concert with Khloe.

The reality star also asked her little sisters' detractors to "stop assuming the worst and making up something that we are not!" She even pleaded to spare her sisters and "judge her instead."

It is indeed a good sight to see sisters sticking up for each other, especially in the case of the Kardashian's and the Jenner's. "Being a teen is hard enough. I'm very protective of them. They are amazing young ladies and I hate that the media is painting them to be wild," Khloe told Gossip Cop.

Perhaps Kylie and Kendall are lucky after all to be part of the most celebrated-and controversial-family in America.

You want to play in the 20 year old pool... Well I'm still in my 20s & I'm better at this game than you. Don't fuck with my little sisters! — Khloé (@khloekardashian) April 25, 2014
