Jennifer is reportedly not engaged to Nicolas Hoult in spite of a cover story from OK! Magazine, which claims that Hoult proposed to Lawrence over Christmas. It quoted a so-called "insider" source saying, "Jennifer is walking on air. She is madly in love with Nicholas and is now the happiest she has ever been."

The supposed insider source says that the couple has not announced the alleged news since Jennifer wants to live a relatively modest, private life. She knows news of their engagement will make it harder, if not impossible. OK! Magazine goes on to give details about Hoult's proposal, claiming that the "About a Boy" star popped the question around Lawrence's family in Lexington, Kentucky with a ring worth around $250,000.

The alleged source supposedly told the magazine that Lawrence's family had gathered in the living room to enjoy the evening before Christmas when Nick asked for everyone's attention and started giving a speech to Jennifer. He supposedly stood up, took her hand to help her stand up well. When she was on her feet, he knelt down and pulled a ring out of his pocket and asked her to marry him.

According to the magazine, the "Hunger Games" star cried and screamed out the she accepts his proposal. After Christmas, Jen and Nick went back to his home in England where they were seen with fans on Dec. 28. The report also claims that the couple is planning for a wedding in 2015 because they both have films booked until then and that Lawrence reportedly wants at least four kids.

It is said that there is no truth to this story, though. In November 2013, the magazine reported the pair was already engaged, planning a wedding in Prague and was about to have a baby. In this year's report though, the magazine does not mention anything about its previous story and simply talks about an entirely new engagement story like there has been no news like it in 2013.

Gossip Cop talked to a source close to Lawrence and reports that the engagement story is completely untrue.
