iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 have a very obvious difference in screen resolution. Despite both devices having a large screen, some consumers may not be able to decide which is better between the two.

iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 are both manufactured by Apple, but the devices have different specifications and accessories support like Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil or stylus.

The iPad Air is a clear winner when it comes to price. It comes with three models 16GB, 32GB with a price tag of US$499 (AU$569), US$599 (AU$629), respectively. Along with the device, Apple offers the option of cellular connection which will cost customers an extra AU$130.

Although similar to the iPad Air, the iPad Pro can be more expensive. It comes in three models: 32GB with Wi-Fi, 128GB with Wi-Fi and 128GB model with Wi-Fi plus Cellular. According to the Apple website, three variations come with price tags of US$799 (AU$1,249), US$949 (AU$1,499), and US$1,079 (AU$1,699), respectively. Apple currently does not offer 32GB iPad Pro model with both Wi-Fi + Cellular connectivity. The devices are available in silver and space grey.

The iPad Air and iPad Pro shares similar features like their cameras, connectivity features, and battery life. However, their differences are noted in their screen displays, pricing, and processing power, among other things.

It is worth noting that the MacBook Air is priced at US$899 (AU$1399).

Both iPad models feature a large screen. The iPad Pro screen measures 12.9-inch while the iPad Air 2 features a 9.7-inch screen, and both devices have the same pixel density of 264ppi. iPad Pro boasts 2732 x 2048 pixels of screen resolution quality while the iPad Air 2 delivers only 2048 x 1536 pixels.

iPad Air2 is a good choice for Christmas shoppers who want to make practical choices. For more powerful specs, the iPad Pro is the better choice.
