It seems that the next episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” will be another filler episode. This time around, three different issues will be tackled by several main characters.

The upcoming “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13 episode will be the 15th one and will be entitled 'Civil War.' The release date of this so-called filler episode will be on March 9. These details were all according to a Twitter post by actor Justin Chambers who plays the part of Alex Karev in the series.

The story for this episode will once again be written by Elizabeth JB Klaviter in the absence of Shonda Rhimes. Episode 15 will also be directed under Nicole Rubio. This episode will also be the first one that Shonda Rhimes will be handling after her maternity leave. This could only mean that the stories of our favourite “Grey’s Anatomy” characters can finally advance through in a no holds barred manner that fans have grown to love.

The possibility of more office-hospital drama can be anticipated for this episode. Since the 14th episode entitled "Back Where You Belong" is still yet to be shown until its air date on February 23, there are a lot of possible conflicts that can arise before the 15th episode.

One of which is a particular trauma case issue where Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr), April Kepner (Sarah Drew), Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) are all involved. This case is said to spark the hospital's political issues due to possibly different beliefs and decisions that each doctor would have. Not to mention the fact that they are all connected to each other family-wise will further bring forth arguments and misunderstandings.

Another issue is between Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson), and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). The issue between these three will also be due to their different medical decisions towards a patient. This will also be a turning point for Meredith, who will she choose to side with her person (Karev) because of their unwavering friendship or choose Riggs, if it seems that he has a better option in order to save the patient’s life.

Lastly, we have the marital issues between Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone). Amelia realises that she is not ready to become a mother during episode 6, will this be the time she would finally confide her true feelings towards her husband. On the other hand Owen has longed to become a father ever since his first marriage with Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh). How he will react once he finds out that Amelia will express the same sentiment that Cristina had.

These are just some of the issues that will be tackled on the upcoming “Grey's Anatomy” season 13 episode 15. It will be aired on March 9 at 8:00-9:01 EST on the ABC Television Network.
