When the first Samsung Galaxy Note device was launched a few years ago, many guessed that it would be a great success.

The first Samsung Galaxy Note was unveiled at the time when the Galaxy S smartphones were doing great. The Korean tech giant surprised everyone with a device with an enormous screen, but not so big to be tablet. At that time, Samsung thought that it created a new mobile phone segment, the phablet. Since then, the phablet has been one of the most successful stories in the mobile phone realm.

At present, the Samsung Galaxy Note line is in its third generation named the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It has been one of the best sellers for Samsung and now, it appears that company is preparing to release the next generation Galaxy Note. Here is a comparison of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Galaxy Note Premium Design

The Galaxy Note series has been a proof that Samsung devices are not only of great quality but they are also known for its premium design. The faux leather design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been a huge success that the company decided to carry the design over to its current flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5.

This time, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be a trendsetter in terms of its premium design and materials used.

Full HD Resolution No More

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is sporting a 5.7 inches display with full HD resolution but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be the first device to offer more than full HD resolution. According to recent rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to launch with 2K resolution support, which is 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 is expected to sport fingerprint recognition standard which is not seen in the Galaxy Note 3.

Camera Upgrades

The Galaxy Note 3 features a 13MP sensor camera, which is excellent in resolution, dual shots and 2K recording.

The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to come with better camera features, which could be a 20MP sensor camera and a myriad of shooting modes.
