The Emma Watson movie, with director, David Yates, was cancelled as he decided to withdraw from the project.

David Yates, the director for the Harry Potter films was, supposed to have a "mini-reunion" with the franchise's star, Emma Watson. The supposed film is entitled, 'Your Voice In My Head.'

Yates confirmed his departure from the project issuing a statement.

"Unfortunately, due to conflicting schedules and ongoing commitments in the narrow window I was hoping to make this film, it has become no longer possible for me to direct 'Your Voice in My Head.'" says Yates in a post by FilmConic.

"I am sincerely sorry to be leaving such a fantastic project, and I wish producer Alison Owen and everyone involved the very best for what I am sure will be a distinctive film."‬ added the director.

Though the departure of Yates would mean a no-go for a mini-Harry Potter reunion, fans can still see upcoming Emma Watson movies such as 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.' In 'Wallflower,' Watson acts alongside Paul Rudd and Logan Lerman.

There are also rumors of another Emma Watson movie entitled 'Beauty and the Beast,' a live-action version.
