Miranda Kerr had to explain herself after getting on fire for her most recent Instagram photo.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel posted a photo on her Instagram account Tuesday as a good luck message for her fellow Angels and models for the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It came with a caption, "Sending love and best wishes to the #vsangels from Japan xxx."

But the sharp-eyed critics at the Fashion Spot and the Livejournal community noticed a few discrepancies between the original photos and the ones Kerr posted on Instagram, leading to a conclusion that the picture was 'treated' using the photo-editing program Photoshop.

The critics also noticed the 'Photoshop difference' with a few more photos on Kerr's Instagram account, including the one where she posed with Michael Kors.

Last Saturday, however, the Aussie model deleted the first photo and replaced it with the original, unedited one, along with the following caption:

Hi guys, here is the original VS image! When I re-posted the photo this week to support the girls I screen grabbed it off the internet when I was working in Japan. I had no idea it was photoshopped. All good intentions- sorry for the confusion and congratulations to the girls for such a great show! ❤

Early this year, Kerr reportedly did not renew her contract with Victoria's Secret. A source revealed that the lingerie brand did not renew with Kerr due to her 'difficult reputation,' and that "(t)hey can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn't have to be an Angel to do that."

However, its chief marketing officer Ed Razek tells Us Magazine denies this allegation, saying she is "a consummate professional. Any rumours to the contrary are simply untrue."

"We have no plans to stop working with her. In fact, I've already invited her to walk the runway in this year's fashion show and, happily, she's agreed," Razek says.

The newly-single model apparently missed the fashion show as she posted the first Instagram photo with fellow Angels Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio all the way from Japan where she is having a photo shoot. This year's show is the first time she is absent from the annual fashion show ever since she started in 2007.

In addition, Kerr has also been busy as a mother to two-year-old son Flynn and as an entrepreneur with different business ventures.
