“Dancing With The Stars” celebrated its 10th anniversary special. The dance reality show that is in its 20th season culminated in a spectacular show featuring the return of many celebrity contestants and pros past and present on April 28, according to Buddy TV. All the pairs dancing together in the ballroom instilled nostalgia among the audience.

The anniversary night also witnessed an opening dance that included around 50 stars, judges, hosts, professional dancers. The star-studded night had some favourite moments including Katherine Jenkins who is four-month pregnant paying tribute to Derek Hough and Mark Ballas along with other dancers. Besides, the anniversary special also saw a host of sparkling costumes displaying a lot of skin.

Kelly Monaco the Season 1 winner paired with Season 15 “All-Stars” partner Val Chmerkovskiy stripping down to their underwear for a quick dance. The pair was not given a full slot and did their routine in a few seconds leaving the audience asking for more. A tribute was paid to pros Derek and Mark though Derek was not present in it due to his injury. The dance included their former partners with Sasha Farber filling in.

Though Patti LaBelle was eliminated in Week 6 this season, she performed her 1995 hit “Lady Marmalade”. The singer did performed her number along with Season 17 winner Amber Riley and one-time contestant Lil’ Kim, both of whom have been Derek’s former partners. Seven NFL players and former contestants Kurt Warner, Donald Driver, Jacoby Jones, Michael Irvin, Hines Ward, Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith did a football-themed Paso Doble with three female pros, Karina Smirnoff, Emma Slater and Anna Trebunskaya. They danced to Monday Night Football theme “Heavy Action”.

There were inspirational stories from the contestants, including that of Heather Mills, Amy Purdy, Noah Galloway, J.R. Martinez and Marlee Matlin. All of those were moving. Besides, Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson were pitted against Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. While Witney and Alfonso dished out an entertaining number, Meryl and Maksim gave a powerful and brilliant performance. Tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday from now onwards to watch the show.
