Carly Rae Jepsen had her shot to fame after her single "Call Me Maybe" was promoted by none other than Justin Bieber himself.

On her cover for the January issue of "Cosmopolitan" magazine, the "Call Me Maybe" talked about Justin Bieber and the "special bond" she shares with him. After her single went on top of the charts for weeks, Carly has a lot to thank Justin for the ultimate boost for her career.

Unlike other stars who fail to acknowledge their humble beginnings, Carly said that she will never grow tired of hearing how Justin has helped her make it to the music industry. She calls the whole experience as a "Cinderella story."

"I never get tired of being asked about him. I'm forever indebted to him for the lovely boost that he's given me," she said on the January 2013 issue of the fashion magazine.

Justin was currently in his home in Ontario when he heard Carly's "Call Me Maybe" on the radio. Apart from tweeting about the song, the "Boyfriend" singer gave a little more effort to show his support to his fellow Canadian singer.

Justin, together with his girlfriend Selena and their other friends made a video spoof in order to give the song some "boost" and it did certainly work.

The Canadian recording artist who is unbelievably 27-years-old is currently singed to School Boy Records which is run by Justin's manager, Scooter Braun.

"For me, the goal of music has never been 'I need to be the biggest superstar in the world.'" It was 'I want to spend my life doing this, and I want to make a career that I can live off of so I don't have to tend bar and waitress to make this fly,'" Carly said. "I don't want to be Cinderella for a night. I want to be Cinderella for life."
