A short film inspired by Nicki Minaj’s latest album “The Pinkprint” has been viewed more than 5.5 million times since it was published on YouTube on Dec. 19. The 16-minute music video titled “Beats by Dre Presents: The Pinkprint Movie” features a single story with three chapters.

The three chapters of the music video were accompanied by three songs from “The Pinkprint”, which are “The Crying Game,” “I Lied” and “Grand Piano.” Starring Minaj, the music video also has product placements of Beats by Dre.

This makes Minaj the first recording artist to release a short film as a tribute to her album. “The Pinkprint” also marks Minaj’s second collaboration with “Problem” hit maker Ariana Grande with a new song titled “Get On Your Knees” after their song “Bang Bang” with Jessie J.

Minaj’s other collaborators in the album are Beyonce Knowles for the song “Feeling Myself,” Jeremih for “Favorite,” Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown for “Only,” Lunchmoney Lewis for “Trini Dem Girls,” Skylar Grey for “Bed Of Lies” and Meek Mill for “Big Daddy.”

The other songs in the 19-track “The Pinkprint” album are “Pills And Potions,” “Anaconda,” “All Things Go,” “Want Some More,” “Four Door Aventador” “Shanghai” and “Win Again.”
