They changed the musical landscape forever. Almost half a century ago, four musicians came into the musical scene to change the path of music thereafter. Dubbed as the all-time best band, The Beatles have definitely raked billions of earnings from their hits. Who could ever forget hits such as "Here Comes the Sun," "Something," "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude?"

The remaining members of the Fab Four, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, would come again to perform live at the 56th Grammy Awards alongside R&B singer John Legend, Taylor Swift, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves and Keith Urban. Other Beatles playing bands such as the Eurythmics shall also entertain the crowd. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox shall also reunite to sing their own rendition of chosen Beatles songs. The pair will be singing "The Night that Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles."

The producer of the said event, Ken Ehrlich, said in an interview: "When it came around to booking this show, what I felt was important was to try and find those artists who not only would be able to interpret Beatles songs, but would also have an understanding of what they meant."

The televised airing on CBS shall be on February 9-the same date when the Fab Four graced the black and white TV sets of millions of American households in 1964, exactly fifty years ago on The Ed Sullivan Show. The said episode was watched by almost 73 million viewers, a groundbreaking and phenomenal record during those times, an event that truly changed the course of the music industry hitherto.

The two remaining members of the greatest band of all time shall be accepting a lifetime award on behalf of the band. McCartney has also been nominated as Best Rock Song and Music Film. It is not sure if the duo would be performing a tribute for their departed band mates, but one thing is for sure: the musical duo is going to take the stage once again and show the audience the magnificence of the greatest band which produced some of the best hits we have today.
