At the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Louise Pillidge and Blake Garvey are expected to make their first appearance together as a couple in Australia. The couple recently returned to Australia from their romantic holiday in Thailand.

The Western Australia is reporting that Blake's name is on the guest-list at the GH Mumm birdcage marquee for Cup Day. He will be arriving with "a plus one." "The Bachelor Australia" Season 1 couple Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are going to join the Season 2 couple, according to the report.

In the season finale, Blake proposed to Sam Frost. In less than 24 hours after the telecast of the final-episode, Network Ten released a statement, saying that Blake and Sam have ended their engagement. It was soon revealed that it is Blake who pulled the plug on the engagement. In his interviews, after the show ended, Blake did not drop any hint that he is dating another girl from the show. However, rumours surfaced that Blake and Louise are a couple.

Blake and Louise gave their first interview to Woman Day's magazine to confirm rumours that they are together. They revealed that Blake wrote a letter to Louise, expressing his true feelings for her. He admitted in the letter that he made a mistake. Later in another interview to "The Project," Blake said that Sam knew about his feelings for Louise and she requested him to not reveal that. He said that he was respecting that and that is why he did not immediately tell the media that he is dating second-runner-up Louise.

Louise believes that Blake was protecting her by sending her home in the penultimate episode. In "The Project" interview, she called him his protector. Sam was quick to deny that she requested Blake to not say anything and that she knew about his feelings for Louise.

Now, Sam wants to move on. She and her new best-friend Lisa Hyde are going to Vietnam in the first week of Nov. to relax and have fun, and also to get away from all the "craziness" and "rubbish," according to Sam's posting on her Instagram account.
