Here is a quick update on the characters in Arrow Season 3:

Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is unhappy about the budding romance between Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards).

Ray kisses a stunned Felicity, but he walks out on her, seemingly realizing he's done something he couldn't follow through. In Arrow Season 3, Episode 7, the viewers see for the first time, the outline of the Atom's suit. Ray Palmer's latest acquisition is going to help him suit up for a mission - which means no time for a love story.

John Diggle (David Ramsey) is adjusting to fatherhood. His baby, Sara, almost makes it to the Arrow cave, but Oliver decides the camp is no place for babies.

Thea Merlyn (Willa Holland) has returned to Starling City and re-opened her club using Malcolm Merlyn's (John Barrowman) estate money. She becomes involved with Austin Butler's Chase, a new character who debuts in Arrow 3x7.

Roy Harper, aka Arsenal (Colton Haynes), learns he has killed a cop, and it is too much for him to bear. He is getting used to the night duties with the Arrow, but he is not prepared to deal with murder, even as he was high on Mirakuru when the killing happened.

Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) has yet to tell her father, Captain Quentin Lance, that Sara is gone. She is ready to be Black Canary. Wildcat (J.R. Ramirez), a former boxing champ and vigilante, is training the new Canary, and it seems the two are going to have a relationship that would go beyond the ring in Arrow Season 3.

Malcolm Merlyn has not caused any real trouble, so far, but some viewers still consider him a suspect in the murder of Sara Lance. He has hinted, however, that Ra's Al Ghul (Matt Nable) has something to do with it.

Arrow Season 3 airs Wednesdays on The CW.
