Apple unveiled the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, alongside the iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 on Sept. 9. With the new iPhones, the tech giant has put an end to the traditional 8 MP camera unit and introduced a new 12 MP sensor. The device also comes with a 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen. Apple iPhone 6s/6s Plus Preorder, Release Date, Availability

The Apple iPhone 6s and the jumbo sibling iPhone 6s Plus will be made available for preorder starting Sept. 12 in the U.S. In case, potential buyers would like to purchase the device from the retail stores directly, they may have to wait until Sept. 25.

Both the iPhone 6s models will reportedly be introduced in the following countries other than the U.S.: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK. Speaking of iPhone 6s release date outside the U.S., customers in Germany and France will be able to get their hands on the device starting Sept. 25. Within a week from Sept. 25, buyers in Netherlands and the rest of the regions will also be able to purchase the device, notes Phone Arena.

Apple iPhone 6s Price

The Apple iPhone 6s’ 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB models can be purchased for $199 / $299 / $399, respectively, under a carrier contract. On the other hand, the full retail price of the handset is $649 / $749 / $849 for the 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB variants. In the case of Europe, the device with 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage capacity will set the buyers back by €739 / €849 / €959, respectively.

The Apple iPhone 6s Plus’ 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage version can be availed for $299 / $399 / $499, respectively, under a carrier contract. Meanwhile, the full retail price of the smartphone is $749 / $849 / $949 for the 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB variants. In the case of Europe, the Plus model bundled with 16 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage space will set the buyers back by €849 / €959 / €1069, respectively.

New Apple iPhone 6s/6s Plus Upgrade Program

Apple has introduced a new iPhone Upgrade Program specific to the U.S. Apple retail stores. This program is reportedly designed to guarantee a brand new iPhone annually. For instance, this service expects the potential buyer to purchase the 16 GB variant of the iPhone 6s at a price of $32 per month. Within 12 months, the buyer can return the iPhone 6s and get the new version of iPhone released at that point in time.

Upon purchasing the new iPhone, the Upgrade Program will reportedly extend the service again for the next year. Also, it is worth noting that, customers are allowed to choose any U.S. carrier (i.e. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon) to avail this service.
