Serbian tennis player and current World number five Ana Ivanovic has revealed her plans for the upcoming season. Ivanovic said that her main goals were to get to the top of the world ranking and win another Grand Slam trophy in the 2015 season.

In an article by The Sports Review, Ivanovic said that she has more skills now compared to the time when she won the French Open in 2008. According to Ivanovic, she now has the qualities of a complete tennis player. She said that she now has a variety of tennis skills such as being able to attack the net and play more offensively. She added that she has also developed a fun approach to tennis and enjoys building on her game.

Every athlete has a dream and she hopes to reach the top of her game again. She said that she has fulfilled it in the past and would like to try the best that she can to make it happen again.

"I was number one before, and I want to give myself the best chance to get back there," Ivanovic said. "So, I'm really working hard to get back, and of course to win another Grand Slam."

Ivanovic also delved on the topic of the struggles that she has had over the last few years. She acknowledged that she had poor performances in the recent years. She attributed her struggles to the fact that women's tennis has transformed a lot. Serena Williams, for one, has certainly raised the bar for the tennis players and aspiring young tennis athletes.

After winning her first Grand Slam title in the 2008 French Open, Ivanovic has reached the top of the world rankings. She held the position for nine weeks until Aug. 8, 2008. However, the Serbian was overwhelmed with attention. She has not been able to make it in the quarterfinals of Grand Slam tournaments until the 2014 Australian Open, but she lost to rising Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard.

In the 2014 season, Ivanovic had an impressive run. She has defeated some of the toughest players, took home four titles, and won as many as 60 matches in the WTA Tour.
