The world's greatest tennis stars and legends are in a mad dash to win the International Premier Tennis League, or IPTL, as the tournament takes off in its fourth and final leg in Dubai from Dec. 11 to Dec. 13. Serbian tennis star Ana Ivanovic's team, the Micromax Indian Aces, is currently on top of the leaderboard after beating the Singapore Slammers to set the Dubai leg in motion. Prior the IPTL's first Dubai match, Ivanovic put on a stylish ensemble when she attended the 11th Annual Dubai International Film Festival.

Local and international stars graced the red carpet on the night of the opening gala. Ivanovic took to Instagram and shared a photo of her at the said event. "At movie premier at Dubai International Film Festival #thetheoryofeverything #mustsee #ddf," Ivanovic wrote on Instagram. She looked stunning in a lace gown and a red clutch bag. Instead of her naturally straight hair, Ivanovic, who is currently World number five, rocked a curly hairstyle for the film gala.

Other celebrities who were in attendance at the film gala event include Emily Blunt, "Entertainment Tonight" reporter Rosci Diaz, Bond girl Olga Kurylenko and "Lost" star Adewal Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The Dubai International Film Festival was held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex on Dec. 10.

The film festival features 118 films from 48 countries, including 55 world premieres in 34 languages, from Dec. 10 to Dec. 17. According to Ivanovic, the "The Theory of Everything" based on the life of English theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking is definitely a must-see.

Hawking's biopic has received four Golden Globe nominations. The movie is nominated in various categories: Best Motion Picture, Drama, Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama and Best Original Score (Motion Picture).

One of the year's most-anticipated films, "Into The Woods," will reportedly close the film festival on Dec. 17. "Into the Woods" features a star-studded cast led by Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, James Corden, Chris Pine and Anna Kendrick. The films are screened at the Vox Cinemas in the Mall of the Emirates and at the Madinat Theatre in Madinat Jumeirah.
