Norman Reedus of "The Walking Dead" is renowned for playing the character Daryl Dixon in the AMC's zombie show. Recently, at Variety Studio, he talked about Daryl Dixon, toughest scene in "TWD" plus other great stuff. He shared the screen with Michael Kelly of "House of Cards," Aaron Paul of "Breaking Bad," Jon Voight of "Ray Donovan," Tony Goldwyn of "Scandal," and Noah Emmerich of "The Americans" for Supporting Actor in a Drama conversation, a part of Emmy Conversation.

"I came up for the pilot season... I came to know about 'The Walking Dead' I was like what the heck is this," said Norman Reedus when asked what it was that appealed to him about the show.

The actor shared that when he read the script he did not register the walkers at the end of it, but the characters involvement moved him.

Toughest Scene for Norman Reedus

The star revealed that whenever it is about the hardest scenes he always remembers his father.

"The hardest on "The Walking Dead" or one of them was killing my brother and I always go back to that... I am not like classically trained or anything, but I always go back to my dad and dad and dad."

"And I think reading that script to kill my brother and all that, I remember reading and going, 'Oh, this day is gonna stink, this is gonna be such a bad day."

He said that those scenes just "wreck your day."

Recently, he shared a photo of him and Michael Rooker, who played Daryl's brother Merle in the show, having a meal.

The cast members are currently shooting "The Walking Dead" Season 5 and it is going to hit the screens in Oct. 2014.
