Daryl Dixon's (Norman Reedus) love life is one of the most talked about elements for fans of "The Walking Dead." Although he is not 'dating' anyone on the show, still fans link him with Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) or Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). Also, there are speculations that Daryl Dixon might be gay.

Norman Reedus talked to ET about his character Daryl Dixon and if the character is gay.

Reedus responded that he wants to play the part as real as possible whatever the sexual orientation is.

"Whatever that decision is I want to play it as real as possible," Reedus said. The actor said that when a boy meets a girl it is quite awkward and he would like to showcase that awkwardness as much as possible.

About "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Reedus revealed that the new season will show some of the best zombie kills. The trailer of the upcoming season shows zombies blown to pieces after a massive explosive, so yes, that is quite a great way to get rid of the walkers.

Coming back to Daryl Dixon's love life, Emily Kinney recently said that there is "definitely something really special there."

"I would say last season what you saw, there's definitely a connection, and a connection that's growing. And they care about each other a lot, and so there's definitely something really special there," Kinney said.

Daryl and Beth spent a lot of time together in "The Walking Dead" Season 4's second half. However, after Beth's abduction, Daryl was alone.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 will witness the reunion of Beth and Daryl. Currently, it is difficult to ascertain Beth's whereabouts, but yes she is alive and out there.
