Following a spate of leaks, the first official trailers and footage of “Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege” has emerged. The game’s publisher, Ubisoft has also announced a Collector’s Edition and an upcoming closed beta, prior to the game’s release in the fall.

The all-new Operator’s Gameplay Trailer is posted on the “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6” YouTube channel, and sees a team of four well armed Operators attempt to defuse a lethal hostage situation with extreme force. The trailer describes Operator’s as plucked from the most elite special forces from around the world, tactical experts and masters in close quarters combat.

Gamer's don’t need to be Operator’s though, as they can also choose to play on the side of the bad guys and defend against the intrusion, by barricading doorways and reinforcing entry points. Graphics are lush and detailed, and the level of environmental destruction on display is truly impressive, promising to allow players an unparalleled level of freedom when it comes to planning assaults.

Also revealed by Ubisoft is a Collector’s Edition for “Rainbow Six Siege,” called “The Art of Siege Edition.” AllGamesBeta reports the Collector’s Edition comes with a 120 page tactical guide, a collector's box and a set of gold skins for all the in-game weapons. The high-quality guide comes with information on every Counter Terrorist Unit, Operator, weapon and map. Pre-orders for all versions of the game; regular and Collector’s Edition will include access to the closed beta set for release later this year.

As second “Rainbow Six Siege” video called Behind the Wall #2, delves deeper into the Operator’s gameplay system. The developers explain that each Operator has their own unique abilities, expanding the potential for tactical teamplay. Long-time fans will be pleased to hear that the studio has not abandoned its roots and that “Rainbow Six Siege” is indeed taking notes from the Tom Clancy series of books. The “Rainbow Six” team will be built from the 20 best Operators from 5 counter-terrorist units across the world, including GSG9, Spetznaz, SAS, SWAT and GIGN.

PlayStation Universe notes that Ubisoft has finally narrowed a release window for the game. Gamer's will be able to get their hands on “Rainbow Six Siege” on PS4, PC and Xbox One in the fall of 2015. Ubisoft will announce a more exact date as the closed beta approaches.
