Chris Hemsworth is done filming “In the Heart of the Sea.” The Aussie actor recently took to Instagram to share a photo of him showing the result of his weight loss for the upcoming action drama film.

“Just tried a new diet/training program called "Lost At Sea",” Hemsworth captioned the photo, which he posted on Nov. 23, Monday. He also wrote, “ Wouldn't recommend it..#IntheHeartoftheSea.”

Directed by Ron Howard, "In the Heart of the Sea” is about the whale in an 1820 event that inspired the late Herman Melville to write the novel “Moby-Dick.” Charles Leavitt wrote the screenplay based on the novel with the same name by Nathaniel Philbrick .

In "In the Heart of the Sea,” Hemsworth plays Owen Chase who struggles to survive with his fellow shipmates after a ginormous sperm whale preys upon their whaling ship. Among Hemsworth’s co-stars in the upcoming film, which is set to hit theatres in Australia on Dec. 3, are Ben Whishaw, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Charlotte Riley, Frank Dillane, Brendan Gleeson, Benjamin Walker, Paul Anderson, Michelle Fairley and Joseph Mawle, among others.

Before filming "In the Heart of the Sea,” Hemsworth had already lost weight for his role Nick Hathaway in the action drama film “Black Hat.” Directed by Michael Mann, “Black Hat” was about a hunt for a high-level cybercrime network.

“When I started, I was leaner than my Thor weight, anyway, because I’d been on Michael’s film,” Hemsworth told Entertainment Weekly. “When you’re already starting off lean, it’s brutal to chew through that kind of weight. Every pound feels like a kilogram.”

Hemsworth is also set to star in “Ghostbusters” and “The Huntsman Winter’s War” in 2016. In 2017, he will reprise his role as Thor in Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Ragnarok” with “Blindspot” star Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
