One of the biggest sporting events in the U.S., Super Bowl XLVIII 2014, kicks off on Feb 2. Here, we give you some of the things that every Super Bowl fan should know.

KICKOFF

As any diehard Super Bowl fan would have probably already know, the kickoff is scheduled on Feb 2, 2014, at exactly at 6:25 pm. The Denver Broncos will face the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. A pre-game show will be aired at 2:00 pm on Fox. The TV network will also be streaming the game via the Internet, so you can use your laptops, tablets, and even smart phones to watch the game live.

In case you want to know how much the ticket is worth to watch the Super Bowl live, well, the ticket price on StubHub ranges from $1,437.50 to as high as $9,902.60. Forbes reported that the ticket prices continue to plummet as the sporting event drew nearer.

TEAMS

Now that the Super Bowl is only a few days away, you better figure out and decide which team you will be cheering for. Who do you think will win Super Bowl 2014? The Denver Broncos has appeared six times in the Super Bowl. The Year 2014 marks the team's seventh appearance in the annual championship game. As for the Seattle Seahawks, it will be the team's second Super Bowl appearance.

HALF-TIME ENTERTAINMENT

As much as people are eager to watch the Broncos take on the Seahawks, they are also ecstatic to watch the celebrities performing at the said sporting event. Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars will be performing at the halftime show. Mars will be joined by The Red Hot Chili Peppers during his performance. Mars was quoted saying that he was grateful to have been chosen to perform and said that the thought of him singing at Super Bowl has not sunk in yet. "I haven't been able to take it in, not yet, come Sunday, I will," said Mars. Some of the musicians who have performed on Super Bowl Sunday in the last decade include Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, and other great musical artists.
