The countdown to “Suits” season 7 premiere has begun. With only three days left until the show airs, the marketing team has started promotion to help build the anticipation. The dream team is back, the trailer was teased, and the first look of Dule Hill playing a new character has been revealed.

The posters of the major characters from the show have been released online, along with a countdown for the next season. The show is set to air on July 12 in the US. Aussie fans can watch the show on July 13 on the Universal Channel.

Among the new cast members joining the series is Hill, best known for his role as Burton Guster in “Psych” and Charlie Young in “The West Wing.” The actor will be playing Alex Williams, a new character who may have been brought in by Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to help run the place.

The first look at Hill’s character posted on The Hollywood Reporter shows him settling in at Pearson Specter Litt. He gets to meet the big players at the law firm, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams).

Alex has been described as a long-time friend of Harvey. He is a senior partner at Bratton Gould, a rival law firm with an “impressive” list of clients. It is not yet clear as to the kind of role he will play, but he is expected to be a recurring character with a season-long arc.

Alex will not be seen in the “Suits” season 7 premiere episode. He will make his debut in episode 2. The plot of the show this year will focus on Mike, a full-fledged lawyer working on pro bono cases. Meanwhile, Harvey and Louis will have to work together to build the firm.
