The wait is almost over for the fans of “Suits” as Season 5 premieres on Wednesday, June 24. The first episode, titled “Denial,” will deal with the repercussions of what happened in the previous season finale, and the person who would be seen most affected is Harvey (Gabriel Macht), which is not at all surprising.

“Suits” Season 4 ended with Donna (Sarah Rafferty) informing Harvey that she is leaving him to work for Louis (Rick Hoffman), and that she loves him. With Donna working for Louis, things at fictional legal firm Pearson Specter Litt would not be the same, as according to synopsis of "Suits" Season 5 Episode 1, “Harvey's work is impacted by changes around the office.”

Donna will be seen adjusting to working for Louis, and as previously reported, will feel stuck because of Louis and Harvey’s fight. Rafferty told TV Fanatic that Donna will find herself in a complicated situation and it is not at all a “rosy situation” for her. The actress also revealed that she would try to make Harvey open up about what is going on between them and talk to her about it.

Meanwhile, it looks like Louis will continue to be insecure, as he is almost certain that Donna will return to Harvey, according to synopsis of “Denial.” And speaking about what is in store for the newly-engaged couple Mike (Patrick J. Adams ) and Rachel (Meghan Markle), the two will be seen discussing the right time to announce their impromptu engagement.

The synopsis says that “Mike and Rachel must decide how and when to share their big news,” and the engagement news takes a back seat in “Suits” Season 5 premiere episode because of Harvey and Mike’s new case.

And John Pyper-Ferguson has signed on for a recurring role as one of the partners of the firm, and according to the synopsis of the episode, “an up-and-coming partner confronts Jessica (Gina Torres) about Harvey's way of doing business.” According to reports, he will have to work with the power struggle that is taking place between Harvey and Louis.

In addition to Pyper-Ferguson, Christina Cole has also been cast in a recurring role. She will be seen playing Dr Paula Agard, a Harvard-educated psychiatrist who specialises in high-end corporate consulting. She and Harvey are expected to play a game of cat and mouse in the new season.
