It's the season for music festivals around the world. After the successful Coachella and Bonnaroo in the United States; and last week's Glastonbury, Australia is now preparing for one of its biggest annual winter music festival, Splendour in the Grass 2013.

Splendour in the Grass will be held from July 26 to 28 at North Byron Parklands in Byron Bay, NSW. All tickets have completely sold-out and the organizers issued a warning against scalpers and auction websites for ticket resale.

"It is apparent that many people intended to abuse any Reissue (aka ticket transfer) option we may have provided this year, we have decided NOT TO OFFER SUCH A REISSUE FACILITY for 2013," Splendour organizers said in a statement.

Artists expected to perform at Splendour 2013 are The National, Cold War Kids, Passion Pit, Klaxons, TV On The Radio, Laura Marling, Surfer Blood, James Blake and more.

Mumford and Sons will also appear at this year's Splendour after their successful performance last weekend at Glastonbury.

Meanwhile, local indie-pop band Architecture in Helsinki will perform their brand-new single, "In the Future", and other new materials for Splendour in the Grass.
