Aussie model Shanina Shaik was involved in a hit and run case, but not much is known about the incident. The Victoria’s Secret model tweeted about the incident, but deleted the tweets soon afterward. Shaik, who lives in the US, said that she was shaken after the incident. However, she reassured her concerned fans that she was unhurt after the incident that took place in Los Angeles.

According to Vogue, Shaik, who made her debut in 2012 for Chanel, has appeared on the catwalk for many designers such as Jason Wu and Stella McCartney. She walked for Victoria’s Secret only last month. It was her fourth show with the renowned fashion company. She has also walked alongside other famous celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

“My girlfriend and I were involved in a hit and run car accident today. Still in shock!” the first tweet of Shaik said. “My bestie and [I] are all ok just “shaken” up! #thankful,” went the second tweet.

The 24-year-old model, who lives in Los Angeles, possibly tweeted to express her frustration and shock. However, she deleted them soon after, reports News.com.au.

It is known from one of Shaik’s Instagram posts on Wednesday that she was headed towards Miami for an Art Basel event in Rockwell, Washington Avenue. The event had a special performance by Miguel and Shaik was one of the four hosts. She started the journey 4:30 am for a shooting in the desert, some of her tweets suggested. Singer-songwriter Antoniette Costa mentioned Shaik in one of her tweets today and posted a photo from a charity dinner.
