Motorola is currently working on a new midrange Moto handset. A Geekbench test results of the device have been revealed. According to GSMArena, the handset would probably roll out as a successor model for Moto E or a new variant of Moto G.

It can deliver a clocking speed of 1.4 GHz. It even supports 4G LTE. Additionally, the Snapdragon 410 SoC processor inside the unrevealed Moto phone can have a max speed of 1.19 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM.

The benchmark result of the handset also reveals that the handset is powered by Android v4.4.4 KitKat OS. GSMArena hopes that when the device arrives, it will receive the new Andorid 5.0 Lollipop update. Apart from the details mentioned, there is no other information available yet. The codename for the device is still unknown as well. The device is listed only as Motorola TBD on Geekbench. In the near future, those interested can expect to learn more about the specifications of the unknown Motorola device.

In the previous year, Motorola had launched three major handsets: the Moto X, the Moto G and the Moto E handset. This year, Motorola already came out with successor models for Moto X and Moto G, namely the Moto X 2014 and the Moto G 2014. The only device that is yet to receive an upgraded model is the Moto E.

According to Tom's Hardware, this year Motorola has launched the Moto G 4G edition for the last year’s model. The Moto E and the Moto G 4G were both revealed at the same time.

The Moto G that was released this year does not feature 4G LTE and Snapdragon 410. Hence, this year Motorola is expected to roll out an improved edition of Moto G 4G, too. In regard to the Moto E successor, the new model is expected to feature Snapdragon 200 chipset.
