‘Neighbours’ actress Sarah Ellen is pegged as the next Kylie Minogue [VIDEO]
Sarah’s character, Madison Robinson, may be taking after her on-screen mum as she reveals surprise singing talent
It’s been almost three decades since singer actress Kylie Minogue left the Australian soap “Neighbours,” but it seems her on-screen daughter has inherited her musical talent.
Sarah Ellen plays Madison Robinson, daughter of the most iconic couple Scott and Charlene Robinson. The 18-year-old actress made her debut in the long-running TV series in April this year as a budding journalist. Ellen met Minogue early this year in London, which she shared in her personal Instagram account. “Touched down in London with some big news! Thanks for welcoming me to the neighbourhood a.k.a. Ramsay Street @kylieminogue. Feeling lucky to be playing your on screen daughter on @neighbourstv.”
Currently, Ellen’s character works as Terese Willis’s (Rebekah Elmaloglou) stylish assistant at Lassiters. Madison will soon prove that apart from her fashion sense, she can also carry a tune. In an upcoming episode of “Neighbours,” she will showcase her vocal prowess during a live music night at The Waterhole.

Digital Spy reports that Madison’s hidden talent will be discovered when Terese assigns Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) to look for a talented singer to perform at the local bar. Aaron gets excited when he books experienced singer Rhonda Riley for the event. However, Madison’s uncle and Terese’s ex-lover-turned-archenemy Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) works again to sabotage Terese. He pays Rhonda to turn up late at The Waterhole and mess up Terese’s plans.
Fortunately, Aaron’s quick thinking leads him to talk Madison into performing as Rhonda’s opening act while he finds the singer. Madison turns down Aaron’s request at first, but she eventually agrees to it. Once she gets on stage and performs, she wins over the guests with her musical talent.
It would be interesting to see how this storyline pans out – after all, Aaron is known to passionately follow through his pursuits once he finds them worthy.
Terese was actually the first person who noticed Madison could sing. In an episode aired this week, Madison was humming a song when her boss arrived. Terese complimented Madison’s voice, but the young assistant brushed it off and quickly changed the subject.
