It’s going to be a heartbreaking day at Ramsay Street on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Tuesday, Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin) is shattered when Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall) turns down his proposal. Lauren also gets visited by a ghost from her past – literally – when her dead husband appears in her dream.

Meanwhile, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) tries to apologise to her sister for the video scandal. However, Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) is not ready at all to forgive her, and only has harsh words for Piper. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Aug.9 episode include Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) and Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns).

Channel Eleven posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode. In the trailer, Paul is excited to bring Terese down using her strategy file. Meanwhile, she tells Brad that his timing to propose to Lauren wasn’t ideal. Elsewhere, Piper tries to warn Tyler that Paige and Jack still have feelings for each other and he’d end up being hurt. Paige also figures in the scene as she rudely talks to Piper, who’s utterly devastated. Lauren wraps the trailer as she reels from seeing her dead husband, Matt.

Digital Spy reports that Lauren declines Brad’s marriage proposal, leaving him heartbroken. Spoilers also indicate that Gary asks Terese out and she accepts, while Jack tells Paige to feel free and go out with Tyler. Secretly, though, he is distraught.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Susan and Karl continued to bicker about the bike lane. After he mentioned about Terese and Brad’s divorce party, Susan commented that perhaps Karl should plan his own divorce party. Later, Karl admitted to Susan that hearing her mention about being separated worried him – the time it happened to them previously was the worst days of his life. Fortunately, the two were able to sort things out and made amends.

Meanwhile, it seemed all things are well between Piper and Paige. Paige assured Piper that she’s going to the party and the two acted like things were normal again. However, when Paige left, Piper made a face and it looked like she was faking it the whole time. Later, Piper went to the garage to invite Tyler. He hesitated at first, but Piper said it’s a good opportunity for them to try being friends again.

At the party, everyone was in good spirits as they celebrated Brad and Terese’s closure. However, they were all shocked when Piper’s special video was played – instead of a compilation of family photos and videos, the video featured Paige and Tyler’s sex scandal. The two were completely humiliated. Jack walked out in disbelief, and Paige chased after him. “You said you have feelings for me but then you go and do that with Tyler,” Jack said. Paige defended herself and said she did it because she had needs that the man she loves couldn’t give her.

Elsewhere, Paul ransacked Terese’s office, trying to look for her strategy file. When he heard someone coming in, he started to hide, but saw it was Gary who arrived. Paul confronted Gary about what he had in his hands. Gary said it was the strategy file and Paul asked to look at it again. Paul was surprise to see that the file was much thicker than what he received.

Later, Lauren and Brad talked about what happened. While she couldn’t believe what Piper did, Lauren also thought Paige was responsible as well. Shortly after, Brad surprised Lauren when he went down on his knees and proposed to her. Terese witnessed the whole thing and sadly walked away.
