Liam Neeson recently stirred health concerns as he continues to look frail and sickly. The actor reportedly didn’t look like the action star he portrays in his movies with his gaunt and frail look.

According to Mirror UK, Neeson has been looking quite sickly for the past months. He has reportedly been spotted on several occasions in New York City looking somewhat frail and weak. One photo shared by the site shows the “Taken” star out for a jog in NYC looking unrecognisable with a bandana and shades on.

The following day, he was once again photographed still looking gaunt. Liam is showing a bit of stubble on his chin and looking thin in the photo shared by Mirror UK. It was reportedly hot during the time the photo was taken, and yet Liam was wearing a sweatshirt over his buttoned shirt.

Another photo shows the 63-year-old walking on the road wearing the same shirt, but he paired it with a grey jacket despite the simmering hot temperature. A wisp of his hair is seen peeking through his jean cap. The actor looked no different and still seemed frail.

Fans reportedly saw a different Liam during his visit to The Ronald McDonald House in New York weeks before. He looked "fuller" then while greeted his fans, as seen in this photo shared by Mirror UK.

It’s uncertain if Liam is losing weight for a movie role. His representative had reportedly previously commented that Liam has “never been healthier.” It's believed his frail appearance came after he announced his decision to retire from action movies after two years.

The actor has been busy with back-to-back films. Liam recently finished filming for “Silence” and “A Monster Calls,” according to Deadline, and now he’s just been announced to star in “The Revenger.” The action comedy was recently acquired by Universal Pictures after it was pitched by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, whose notable films include the “Night at the Museum” trilogy and “The Pacifier.” No details have been revealed yet about the film, but according to Cinema Blend, Neeson will not just be doing full action scenes but will also be doing a bit of comedy.
