After Kendall Jenner was reported to be the very first of Bruce Jenner’s daughters to speak about and confirm his transition into a woman, Kendall took to Twitter to slam the reports. According to Kendall, US Weekly is putting words in her mouth because she never spoke to them.

Through her Twitter account, Kendall denied commenting about her father Bruce’s transition into a woman with US Weekly. She expressed her anger on being quoted to have said something when she did not even meet with anyone from the magazine to discuss the issue. Her sister Khloe retweeted her post to show her support.

Earlier, US Weekly published a report claiming that Kendall spoke to them while backstage at Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central Roast on Saturday, March 14. According to the publication, Kendall remains supportive of her dad despite him transitioning into a woman. She was quoted to have said she loves Bruce, “whether he’s a man or a woman,” seemingly confirming reports that Bruce is indeed living his life now as a woman. The publication also said Kendall told them that Bruce is a wonderful man and a father to her and her sisters, and even though “he’s changing shoes now,” it does not make him any less wonderful.

On the same interview that Kendall is now denying she had, the budding model also reportedly shared that she gets angry when her family is accused of not working hard. She shared that nothing can be more untrue as the whole family is dedicated to their jobs and has a great work ethic.

Had Kendall not denied that she said those things to US Weekly, her statements would have run against what People magazine claimed on Wednesday that Bruce’s family is not as supportive as the public thinks. In particular, according to People, Bruce’s “decision to live life as a female” caused a bigger rift in the family, more so than the divorce did. A source claimed that Bruce’s ex-wife Kris Jenner and stepdaughters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian are all struggling to come into terms with the transition.
