World Cup star Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez caused a stir recently as he launched his very own underwear line. Rodriguez is the latest footballer to have his own personalised underwear range, following the footsteps of Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and former Real Madrid star David Beckham.

Rodriguez has teamed up with Colombian brand Bronzini to launch his own brand of man panties labeled as J10, TMZ Sports reports. Fans went all giddy when Rodriguez' underwear line was unveiled. The unveiling of Rodriguez' J10 brand came after the Colombian star scored his seventh goal for Real over the weekend.

Fans got excited when the Colombian superstar's photos in his undies were shared on social media. One said Rodriguez even looked sexier in undies than Ronaldo, while another one said he looked simply hot.

TMZ thought that Rodriguez' underwear brand is a "complete rip-off" of Ronaldo's CR7 campaign. Both soccer stars have their initials and jersey number on their line of underwear. Ronaldo has been successful with his own line as it has already stretched out into socks and shirts as well.

In August, Martin Nova, who serves as the marketing vice president for the Exito Group, has explained why they chose the 23-year-old footballer as their new endorser. "We chose James Rodriguez to be the face of Bronzini Black because he is a man of style, with confidence in himself, and is surprising at all times," Nova said via Colombia Reports, a Colombian news site.

Rodriguez has done a five-hour photo shoot for the brand in Medellin. The shoot was done a few weeks before he joined Real. It has been said that Rodriguez will receive 500 items from his underwear collection.

Following his impressive run at the World Cup, Rodriguez has inked a deal with Real over the summer. His signing with the Spanish football club is considered one of the most expensive deals in history. Rodriguez has signed with Real for a six-year contract reportedly worth 80 million euros.

Rodriguez is married to Daniela Ospina since 2011. He has a daughter named Salome, who was born on May 29, 2013.
