[SPOILER ALERT!]

A royal wedding will happen on the early episodes of "Game of Thrones" Season 4. Two houses will join this season as Joffrey Baratheon, from the House Lannister will wed Margaery Tyrell, from the House Tyrell.

In the previous episodes of the popular HBO series the "Game of Thrones", there were several plants on the possible wedding between Joffrey and Margaery. Though Joffrey is, may be, the most hated character in the series, fans are still excited to know where will the story take him.

The wedding which is tagged as the "Purple Wedding" will be aired in the episode 2 entitled "Lion and Rose." Obviously, the title represents the two houses, Lion for Lanister and Rose for Tyrell.

Joffrey was actually betrothed to Sansa Stark. Through Joffrey cruelty, he beheaded Sansa's father, Eddard Stark, for treason after the man tried to reveal the truth about who his real parents are. Sansa was kept captive in King's Landing. Joffrey set aside his betrothal to Sansa over Margaery Tyrell. Sansa later becomes the young wife of Lord Tyrion Lannister.

[WARNING: MORE SPOILERS HERE!]

Here's another catch for "Game of Thrones" fans, Joffrey will be poisoned. He will choke and die on the day of his wedding to Margaery. The cruel and most hated character in the show will die so soon in the fourth installation of the epic fantasy series.

Joffrey's death will be blamed to his Uncle Tyrion and Sansa. They were accused as the two had all the possible motives to do this to the King. Both who were accused of the crime will be thrown to prison.

Joffrey is currently the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. Though he was actually the bastard son of Sir Jaime Lannister and Queen Cersei Lannister who are having incestuous relationship (they are siblings), he took the Iron Throne after the men who he claimed as "father," King Robert Baratheon died. Because of this, his claim to the throne is challenged by Stannis Baratheon, Robert's younger brother.

The Purple Wedding and Joffrey's death is some of the highlights of "Game of Thrones" Season 4.

"Game of Thrones, Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing", will be aired April this year.
