After “The Assignment” comes “The Consequence.” The latest DLC for “The Evil Within” continues the story of Juli Kidman from the last story expansion, as her side of her story is told, according to a report from Game Informer. “The Consequence” also marks the finale of her story and may wrap up some loose ends from the ending of the main campaign.

Game developer Bethesda Softworks also released a teaser trailer for this “Evil Within” DLC. Though short, the video shows Juli is actually holding a gun this time; in the previous DLC pack, “The Assignment,” she only relied on sneaking her way through areas and occasionally using an axe on enemies to defend herself. Now it appears that Juli can finally fight back.

The downloadable content will be available next month, on April 21. It will be available for current-gen platforms like the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Last-gen gamers who bought “The Evil Within” need not worry as Gamespot has confirmed “The Consequence,” like all of the game's DLC, will also be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. European fans of the game will simply wait an extra day, on April 22, to get the extra “Evil Within” downloadable content.

This story expansion will be the second of three “The Evil Within” DLC packs released, with “The Executioner” being the last piece of DLC. Unlike the previous packs that expounded upon Juli, “The Executioner” will have players in the role of The Keeper, the axe-wielding behemoth who has a safe in his head for no particular reason.

Missions for the Keeper won’t be particularly story-driven, as the mode will reportedly be mission based. So players expecting to know the possible tragic backstory of The Keeper, will continue to be left in the dark.

Both “The Assignment” and the upcoming “The Consequence” DLC will be purchasable for $9.99, while no individual price has been released for “The Executioner” add-on. All of the “Evil Within” DLC can be purchased for $19.99 if players decide to buy the “Evil Within” season pass.
