“Fast 8” stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are making rounds on the Internet with their public feud. Johnson ignited the strife when he posted a video slamming his male co-stars on his social media accounts.

After wrapping up his shooting for the upcoming eighth installment of “Fast & Furious” saga, Johnson left a video and message to his co-workers. In the video, Johnson was seen punching an extra, which is likely a footage from the “Fast 8.” While others were congratulated and admired by Johnson, some unidentified co-stars were targeted by the pro-wrestler actor with a shady message. He called out some of his male co-actors whom he described as “chicken s---” and “candy a----.”

“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling -- you're right,” Johnson captioned his Instagram post. (Click here for the related story)

While Johnson didn’t single out a particular actor in his post, Vin Diesel is purportedly the person who got on the nerves of The Rock.

According to TMZ, Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in “Fast & Furious” franchise, was the person Johnson was referring to. Production insiders supposedly disclosed to the outlet that Johnson was finding it hard to accept Diesel’s diva attitude.

Diesel is reportedly making it hard for everyone on set. The 49-year-old actor is said to often come 30 minutes to an hour late on set. Furthermore, with his producer title, the actor kept goading and criticising the acting of his fellow cast, including The Rock. Meanwhile Johnson, who’s described by the source as incredibly professional, seemed to finally explode as he's long been upset with Diesel’s work ethic. It seemed Johnson couldn’t put up with his co-star anymore, hence his public outburst.

However, the “San Andreas” actor posted another message to retract his shady post. It seemed he didn’t want the dispute to go on any longer. Johnson described his “Fast 8” production team as a family. He said that like any family, there’s always a conflict due to differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. But then a healthy conflict can make a family grow and get better from it.

“At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world,” Johnson said.

However, Vin Diesel is not over it and seemed to accept he was the person aimed by The Rock’s shady message. The 49-year-old actor shared his own Instagram video with a cryptic message. The video started on an upbeat note as Diesel gushed about his daughter learning the word “happy.” He ended the video with a mysterious promise.

“I will tell you everything. Everything,” Diesel said.

“Fast & Furious 8” or “Fast 8” is slated to premiere on Aug. 14 2017 in US theatres. The official airing date in Australia is yet to be announced.
