Barely two days after having reduced sentence from felony charges to a misdemeanor, Chris Brown voluntarily entered rehab for anger management issues.

According to AceShowbiz, Brown’s Representative Nicole Perna said the singer decided to have rehab on his own.

Perna added, "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

In a separate report by TMZ, the singer's lawyer, Mark Geragos, apparently took him to the rehab center in Malibu.

Brown’s decision to enter the facility came after an incident in Wash. D.C. Sunday, Oct. 27. A 20-year-old man from Maryland accused Brown of punching him in the face when the former tried to pose for photograph with the singer. It appeared that Brown did not like his picture be taken with the victim.

Brown was arrested in front of W Hotel and he was only released Monday. The felony charges earlier hurled against Rihanna’s ex was reduced to a misdemeanor.
