Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit party at Marquee in New York City on Feb. 10. Wozniacki’s presence at party made headlines after she shared a picture of her with Washington Redskins’ linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, with whom she has been rumoured to be dating.

Wozniacki, who is featured in one of the spreads of the SI Swimsuit magazine, tweeted a picture from the event where she was seated next to Kerrigan. She had her arms around his shoulders, while his one hand rested on her waist.

Wozniacki received amusing reactions from Twitter users. They all seemed to be teasing her because of her recent public outing with Kerrigan.

In December 2014, CNS Washington reported that Wozniacki and Kerrigan attended a charity event in Washington, D.C., which fueled speculations that the pair were dating. It was the first time that the Dane tennis star has been romantically-linked to someone else following her very much publicised breakup with top-ranked golfer Rory McIlroy in May.

Wozniacki never publicly commented on the real status of her relationship with Redskins’ linebacker. Kerrigan, however, previously addressed so-called charity date with Wozniacki in an interview with ESPN 980’s Scott Jackson. Kerrigan said that he and Wozniacki are just good friends. He said that she was in town and only wanted to come to the charity event.

Meanwhile, Wozniacki has arrived in Dubai to compete in the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. She is slated to shoot a commercial for the tournament before it begins on Feb. 16.

Wozniacki won the 2011 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. She was then World No. 1 when she defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-1 6-3 in the final. She will face a fierce lineup of players in her bid to reclaim the title. Other tennis stars slated to take part in the event include World No. 1 Serena Williams, World No. 3 Simona Halep, former World No. 1 Ana Ivanovic, Petra Kvitova, Agnieszka Radwanska, and 2014 finalist Alize Cornet. Radwanska and Kvitova are previous Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships titlists, having won the trophy in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
