Blame it on reality star Kim Kardashian for starting a battle of the backside. After People Magazine released its November cover showing her ample buttocks, comedienne Chelsea Handler decided to up the war by posting images of her behind on Instagram.

After Handler posted a selfie of her naked butt, she dared the photo-sharing site to remove the image. The comedienne had previously slammed Instagram for taking down her topless photo that imitated Russian President Vladimir Putin who had a similar shirtless picture while riding a horse. But Twitter allowed Handler's breast exposure.

Previous reports said that Handler quit Instagram because of the censorship issue, but either she could have opened a new account or possibly did not make good her previous threat to quit.

She did not only post her butt shot but also placed it side-by-side with Kardashian's magazine cover with the teasing but challenging caption: "Guess which one's real?" The caption is a broadside at Kardashian's photo which probably had the benefit of Photoshop, while her image is a selfie using just her smartphone.

Mashable says that Instagram hasn't removed yet the image of the two behinds. TMZ added that the topless photo which Chelsea reposted on Instagram, along with Putin's original version, is also still in the Web site.
