It was a moment like we have seen before. A clearly unassuming 14-year old Jack Vidgen walked up to the stage and was visibly received with great doubts by his judges on the singing competition, the "Australia’s Got Talent".

This was a scene that reminded millions of internet users who fell in love with Britain’s Susan Boyle as he was dismissed early on by the "Britain's Got Talent" judges, particularly from British mogul, Simon Cowell, who was seen rolling his eyes with great doubts on Susan as she appeared in unflattering printed dress and unkempt hair with bushy eyebrows.

But unlike Susan Boyle, Jack Vidgen of Balgowlah, Sydney walked up to the stage with complete package: a look that resembles Justin Bieber - - with blonde hair side-swept and an ensemble that completely reminds one of the Canadian teen sensation as he performs onstage.

Like Susan who dedicated her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” after declaring she has always dreamt to become Ellen Paige, Jack Vidgen said in the short clip introducing his background, that he came to the show in hopes that winning will make his father with multiple schlerosis “smile”.

But his unassuming personality had led the judges to doubt what his voice had to offer.

In his version of the same defining moment, Jack Vidgen received cold shoulders from the show’s judges. And the one who was the hardest to please among the trio, Kyle Sandilands could not help himself saying before he could even hear the Sydney-born teen when Vidgen declared his song of choice: “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

“You’re either gonna be amazing or dreadful — both I will enjoy”, Sandilands retorted after hearing Vidgen’s ‘ambitious’ choice.
And he surprised everyone as he hit it right in the song’s highest note of his own rendition of Houston’s song.

As he started to show the judges and the audience what he got, it was clear that Jack Vidgen has got what it take judging by everyone’s reactions including the competition’s adjudicators.

Former Westlife’s member, Brian McFadden appeared in great disbelief to hear Vidgen’s talent. And as seen in the camera panning from the stage to the panel, McFadden had exchanged looks of admiration with fellow judge, Dannii Minogue. To his amazement, he got up from his chair and planted Vidgen a kiss, not even allowing the teen contestant to finish his song.
