Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reiterated that attacker Joel Campbell will not spend his 2014/15 campaign away from the Emirates.

The 22-year-old Costa Rica international spent his past three seasons with Lorient, Real Betis, and Olympiacos, respectively.

It was with the Greek side that he caught not only the French mentor's attention, but as well as other clubs around Europe.

Campbell almost helped the Erythrolefkoi get past the round-of-16, scoring a goal against Manchester United during the first leg, while amassing a total of 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for Olympiacos.

"We have had a lot of offers for Joel and have turned them all down," said Wenger.

"There are plenty of clubs - I don't know exactly how many because once I said to my assistants, 'He will not go out on loan', if somebody calls them they don't even tell me anymore because, when I say no, it's no."

"But he is definitely a player wanted by many clubs."
