Recently, Marvel released the highly anticipated trailer of Paul Rudd's "Ant-Man." Just few days after the release of the full-length teaser of the movie, Marvel has released a whole bunch of photos providing a glimpse of the movie and detailed look of "Ant-Man" supervillain Yellowjacket and Scott Lang's superhero suit. Also, in his recent interview, actor Corey Stoll talked about his character, Yellowjacket.

On Jan 12, 2015, Marvel released 12 high-resolution photos from the upcoming movie "Ant-Man" on its official website. The photos show various shots from the movie featuring Paul Rudd's Scott Lang and his alter ego/superhero Ant-Man, Michael Douglas' Doctor Hank Pym, Evangeline Lilly's Hope Wan Dyne and Corey Stoll's Darren Cross/Yellowjacket. This is first official look at the Yellowjacket. Two weeks ago, fans had only got a glimpse of the villain via promo art as reported by Comic Book Movie.

For those unfamiliar, Corey Stoll, the actor portraying Yellowjacket is best known for his role in television drama "House of Cards." In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed quite a lot about his character and some plot details. Yellowjacket was Hank Pym's protégé, who the doctor "discovered at an early age," Corey Stoll told the entertainment news publication.

Elaborating further, the actor said his character was "nurtured" by Pym, who recruited Darren Cross at his technology company. Things reportedly began to change when Darren Cross "started to become aware of these rumours of this fabled technology that can shrink people to half an inch while keeping their full-size strength." He was quite enthusiastic about exploring the technology; however, Pym decided to bury the project for "ethical, moral reasons."

Later, Stoll's character invents his "own version" of "Ant-Man" technology and begins to use it for "militaristic purposes." "I've even started to use the technology myself, which as a sort of psychotic effect on people if they use it too much," the actor disclosed.

The actor refused to reveal more details about Yellowjacket's suit. However, the hero will have some tough battles to fight and great challenges to face as Stoll reveals that Yellowjacket suit is "several generations advanced from what Ant-Man has."

Besides Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and Michael Douglas, "Ant-Man" stars Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, Martin Donovan, Abby Ryder, T.I. and more. The Peyton Reed-directed film is scheduled to be released on July 17.
